ABOUT THIS JOB

Our Pre-Sales Consultant will provide senior levels of business support to both Nielsen Brandbank associates and subscribing clients across the Central European business units (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary).
On this role, you will maintain high levels of commercial engagement and an understanding of market specifics as well as local commercial responsibility for Nielsen Brandbank’s suite of licensed Professional Services products.

This will present itself through the detailed consultation and implementation of specific business projects with our leading clients (both retailers and manufacturers).

You will also deliver against a revenue target for Nielsen Brandbank Professional Services products, as well as helping shape the value proposition and sales approach to empower our Account Manager team to sell the products with your support.

The Pre-Sales Consultant role is an exciting and challenging client facing role that is at the heart of the client-facing and technical/implementation divisions of our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● You will be documenting client requirements and liaising with our internal business functions including business Executives to design, scope and implement end-to-end solutions.
● Ensure that local business functions follow established business processes on inbound opportunities, having the confidence to challenge and influence when applicable.
● Own business responses to Request For Proposal / Request For Information requirements and submissions for projects to ensure excellence and consistency across our service delivery strategy.
● Act as a product/service subject matter expert to others with the ability to translate service technicalities into commercially orientated features and benefits.
● Develop a broad understanding of a client's technical architecture and balance this with a clear understanding of our own product and service development plans and roadmap with an awareness of emerging technologies, to determine what is and is not possible for the business to develop and deliver.
● Strategically aligning local business performance and objectives with the Pre-Sale Team Lead and wider Nielsen Brandbank initiatives.
● Confidently and independently delivering local solution propositions alongside the Pre-Sale Team Lead to Nielsen Brandbank Executive Team.

● You will be expected to travel internationally, sometimes at relatively short notice.

● Having direct revenue target for Professional Services

You are A senior, organised and pragmatic individual with the ability to operate within a high pressured environment adhering to set deadlines with a proven track record of managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
● Industry experienced in delivering strategic projects.
● With an understanding of consumer content and/or online retail industry and related technologies.
● Able to demonstrate Software Sales experience.
● With a good level of experience in the strategic sales planning and implementation, including experience of pipeline management.
● With proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team, in a fast paced environment.
● Able to quickly grasp a clear understanding of a customer’s needs and translate them to a set of requirements and well-planned solution deliverables.
● Commercially astute and confident when client facing.
● Comfortable delivering presentations, hosting conference calls and conducting software/solution demonstrations and training.
● Excellent internal and external communication in English (both verbally and in writing).
● Experience in running workshops and building customer rapport.

● Experienced or at least curious of the e-commerce business.
