ABOUT THIS JOB
We won’t say we can predict the future, but our team of Consumer Insights get pretty close. This role combines data analysis and client consultation from the start, with plenty of room for growth. You find the stories behind scatter plots and help clients determine which products to launch. Your insights will influence decisions for some of today’s leading global companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Nielsen's PD&S clients such as ministries, government and other public sector entities to deliver high-quality consumer insights research.
- Engage with the client SPOCs to understand the research requirements and provide suitable solutions to the client's satisfaction.
- The role provides the opportunity to lead and develop long term relationships with existing as well as new clients for the PD&S team.
- End to end execution of research which broadly includes understanding client requirements, preparing questionnaires, data analysis, and report writing.
- Execute and deliver high-quality research insights.
- Coordinate with various support functions in successfully executing the research assignment.
- On time and up to date communication with the client on all research-related activities.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
- Being a part of the PD&S (Public Development & Sustainability) team specializes in handling consumer research for the Government and Public sector entities. Based out of Sharjah, UAE, this role will be part of the diverse pool of researchers.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- You are a graduate or postgraduate in Management studies or Social Sciences
- You posses minimum 3-4 years experience ( 2-3 years of experience will also do)
- You have the willingness to learn research techniques and take on the ownership of research projects to suit client requirements
- You have hands on experience and proficiency in working on MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word or preparing the research instruments and report deliverables
- Good oral and written communication skills
- You are experience in and working proficiency in quantitative data analysis.
- Should be able to develop insights and recommendations based on the data
- Attention to details and enjoys data-oriented research
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Prior experience in the market research or data analyst position
