About the role
As a Nike Factory Store Location Planner you will develop in-depth, accurate, and detailed strategic and tactical plans to maximize revenue and profitability by store.
You will participate in the development of financial forecasts at a total store level. Responsibilities will also include managing and maintaining stores at operationally efficient capacities through review and adjustment to sales, inventory, and sell through.This position will also require the analysis of historical data and current trends to identify both current and future opportunities to elevate the business at a store level.
In addition, you'll collaborate with key business partners to develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and/or product opportunities per store.
Responsibilities:
·Create Tier recommendations through door level analysis.
·Develop door level sales and inventory plans by BU / Category / Gender, and align with top level business plans.
·Plan annual budget and monthly forecast at door level together with the cross-functional business partner.
·Drive collaboration and include input from key stakeholders including the field, planning, allocation, and merchandise teams.
·Develop and provide weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting to key stakeholders.
·Provide actionable risk / opportunity recommendations to internal and external teams, driven at the store level.
·Build relationship with field teams and communicate future opportunities within location.
·Identify promotional activity by store to ensure financial and inventory goals are met.
·Lead and track the development of new and expanding store locations to meet the marketplace and financial needs.
·Share and receive best practices with cross territory partners to optimize efficiency within the role.
·Input seasonally relevant SKU capacities by store to deliver increased sales per square meter productivity.
Requirements
•Degree in business, finance, sales, marketing or a related field. 2 years additional planning experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•2 years planning experience for a multi-store retailer preferred.
•3 years in a leadership role in retail stores may be substituted in lieu of planning experience.
•Strong working knowledge of retail math, financial planning and store planning.
•Experience analyzing reports and data to make decisions that will positively impact the business.
•Strong proficiency in Excel, including creating conditional formulas, vertical lookups and pivot tables.
•Strong team player and ability to work with the cross-functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
•Language requirement (e.g. Fluency in Japanese and English required. Minimum TOEIC 800+.).
