Supplier Account Manager

Job Description

This Supplier Account Manager (SAM) position is within the Silicon Foundry Management team and is responsible to manage the overall relationship, business aspects, contracts and supplier performance of one of the key suppliers of Intel. As individual contributor the SAM leads a global and cross-functional team to ensure Intel's superior sourcing position in respect to:

  • Supplier relationship and intelligence
  • Commercial negotiations, assess new business opportunities, drive business expectations and commitments
  • Contracting (legal framework, compliance, IP protection)\
  • Secured capacity to ensure division's revenue
  • Supplier performance (operational KPI, continuous improvement programs, R&D and NPI support)

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Strong in collaboration, communication and influencing/negotiation skills across organizations and management levels, across internal/external.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master in Chemical, Engineering, Material Science or Physics
  • 5+ years of experience with Foundry Business and Operation.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business and Supply Chain.
  • 3+ years of experience semiconductor technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in Silicon fab operation.
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

  • Knowledge in product design methodology
