As a System Integration Test (SIT) Engineer in Taipei/Taiwan, you apply your knowledge and skills to solve complex business issues. Frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives. Contribute to process improvements and establishing policies. Represent the team to management, program and internal/external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall system integration test efforts, including Core Validation and SCIT-HW, and work with the program team to ensure completion of all required testing and monitor project progression
• Design quality assurance and test processes for system integration test
• Analyze product specifications/functions and creates associated test plans to ensure testing coverage
• Facilitate test execution internally and externally, and documentation for assigned projects
• Identify, triage, debug and work with functional experts to deliver solutions to issues
• Lead overall issue review and management efforts for assigned programs
• Review and validate partners’ test result, provides guidance and follow up the preventive and corrective actions
• Evaluate/initiate/create new ideas, test methodologies to improve test effectiveness and efficiency
• Collaborate and participate in testing automation development to improve testing efficiency and quality

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Typically 4-8 years experience in System Integration Tes
• Experience in OS, Software, Application testing is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of latest computer architecture and computer components
• Knowledge of PC, HW, FW, BIOS, OS and software stack
• Familiar with debugging tools
• Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Willing to participate in regular audio and video conferences at various times of day and night with test partners in Taiwan, China and the United States
• Ability to travel internationally on a need basis
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal and external test partners
• Ability to create functional test plans based on product specifications and test strategy
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets
