With the rapidly accelerating shift to Online within the commercial Channel, it’s key for HP’s Large Format business to dominate the Online ecosystem with best-in-class demand-generation and customer experience.
The Large Format Digital Marketing Manager, working in HP’s Graphics Solutions Business, will be responsible for enablement of digital marketing activities to meet the business objectives for Large Format Printers and associated Ink cartridges. This role will sit within the WW Large Format Marketing team at HP.
Responsibilities:
- Implement an existing WW Large Format Digital Marketing Strategy for EMEA countries, customizing to regional platforms and customer behaviors – with increased focus on UK, Germany, and France
- Define a go-to-market plan to improve Hardware (large format printers) and Supplies (ink cartridges and paper rolls) presence Online aligned to the WW Large Format Marketing plan and NPI (new product introduction) schedule. Create best-in-class Online product launches for Commercial products.
- Partner with key market players such as Google, Bing, Amazon, Yandex, and other demand-generation platforms, etc.
- Define working models and media mix. Drive improvements in online content quality and robustness, this includes a stronger presence for online web content as well as ensuring that the content is high quality and optimized for Search.
- Define, and maintain a content optimization plan. Improve content on Reseller sites and optimize it for Search - product descriptions, product titles, images, videos, etc.
- Monitor the competitive environment and persecute false advertising.
- Scale and improve ROI for SEM activities, such as paid search and Shopping Ads, Display advertising across relevant platforms, and regional niche sites, blogs, forums, etc.
- Work with media agencies to plan (in additional to self-managing in-house campaigns), execute and measure Media effectiveness against Sales - maintain a monthly reporting and performance dashboard to effectively communicate success.
- Enable Omnichannel integrated campaigns with regional trade shows and customer events.
- Drive and improve traffic and conversion at major Reseller accounts.
- Plan digital activation based on understanding the market and the customer journey.
- Overall budget accountability for dollars invested in Large Format Digital Marketing for EMEA.
- Key performance indicators: lead generation, ROI from Search Engine Marketing, increasing Online Search Share for HP and HP Partners, Large Format sales on hp.com, improved customer experience on hp.com landing pages, and increase in organic traffic for hp.com and Channel Partner websites.
Key Interfaces:
As part of the WW LF Digital Marketing team, this position will be expected to maintain solid and ‘high trust’ cross-functional relationships with the following:
WW Large Format GBU team, EMEA Large Format Region Marketing and Sales teams, AMS Large Format Region Marketing team, and WW Social Media team.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Proven digital go-to-market experience in EMEA (experience of implementing successful digital campaigns in UK, France, and Germany – both B2B and B2C) – especially with proven performance in lead generation, SEO (search engine optimization of content and landing pages), and SEM (paid search, Shopping Ads, Google Display Network). Must be familiar with analytics platforms just as Google Analytics and/or Omniture, and Google Search Console.
- Must have experience of self-managing SEM and Display campaigns, with minimal support from agencies in some EMEA countries, ability and knowledge of optimizing digital campaigns for lead generation and web sales is crucial.
- Ability to learn on the fly in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision (must be a proactive self-starter).
- Intermediate or above with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent teamwork and negotiation, and ability to influence others. Risk taker, problem solver, and project management skills.
- Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business (MBA) preferred but not essential.
- Some experience managing Display Retargeting and Social campaigns.
