Job Description

[Job Purpose]

Manage the Events business in Seoul.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage overall business strategy to promote and sell event rentals.
  • Generate and execute processes for event booking to meet monthly revenue goals.
  • Maintain internal operating systems and cross functional communication. At times, work with event agencies and other vendors.
  • Maintain brand identity throughout programming and coordination.
  • Collaborate with external groups on event-related projects and partnerships.
  • Plan and execute marketing and sales events.

General Duties:

  • Oversee and execute the sales and operations of private events at WeWork venues in Seoul.
  • Generate reports and evaluate sales.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining operational standards.
  • Work with Marketing on initiatives to generate leads.
  • Liaise closely with internal and external teams to project manage venues in the pipeline.
  • Manage relationships with preferred event vendors.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and propose revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Establish and foster new relationships that drive desks sales and increase brand awareness for the properties.
  • Attend any meetings or training sessions or courses as required.
  • Assist fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to learn and improve the knowledge of the job.
  • Undertake any reasonable request made by a member of management.
  • Achieve set Key Performance Objectives and Indicators and complete all other duties, tasks and projects as required by the Team.
  • Ensuring booking processes and actions are followed in-line with company standards.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in events, preferably in venue sales and management.
  • Experience working in the hospitality industry is a bonus.
  • Prior experience managing full-time employees and/or event partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Hospitable demeanor.
  • Self-starter and fast learner.
