Job Description

Flatiron School , a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WeCompany , is looking for an Associate Recruiter in New York City to join our Talent Acquisition team. In the role, you will support sourcing and hiring for a portfolio of instructional and other corporate searches across the North American region for Flatiron School. You will collaborate with Recruiters and Senior Recruiters executing the recruitment life-cycle of hires from initial briefings to interviews and offers.

The ideal candidate is a team player with experience sourcing diverse pipelines. As an Associate Recruiter , you will source and support hiring for a diversity of searches across the US, drawing on project management ability, proactive pipeline development, and strong service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing for junior to mid-level job searches by developing the sourcing and recruiting strategies across designated functional areas
• Collaborate with Recruiters and Senior Recruiters to source and build diverse and strong candidate pipelines
• Liaise with People and Talent Operations teams to ensure successful hiring processes
• Follow up regularly and ensure timeliness of the recruitment process
• Creatively negotiate complex executive compensation packages

Key Experience & Competencies

• 1+ years of internal or external recruiting, sourcing, customer service, or talent coordination experience in rapidly scaling environments (ideally start-ups, B2B, or consumer goods & services industries)
• High level of comfort in direct sourcing and experience with complex compensation negotiations
• Strong proficiency in Google Suite (specifically Google Sheets)
• Knowledge of ATS systems (preferably Workday Recruiter, Greenhouse, or ICIMs) is a plus!
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders across company domestically and internationally
• Immaculate attention to detail and a keen eye towards visual presentation of work product; excellent presentation skills
• Results driven under highest expectations on time and quality
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Learning agility; ability to work in an ambiguous environment and drive forward results
• Creative outside-of-the-box thinker to new and innovative solutions
