Candidates must have knowledge/experience in the securities marketplace including equity, fixed income, mutual funds and alternative assets as well as an understanding of portfolio management and trading processes in support of the Investor / Portfolio Manager community T he Trade Support Analyst serves as a vital resource for the WM Investor community, acting as the liaison between the business, technology, control partners, and operations. The analyst role includes the investigation of Investor inquiries, monitoring trade execution flows, trade reconciliations, fundamental understanding trading systems, and the testing/implementation of new trading infrastructures/platforms. You must be able to provide and communicate solutions (in person, by phone, and by email) in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Front Office and Implementation teams globally.
  • Provide end to end trade flow support across all product channels globally.
  • Monitor ongoing support needs to address changes and gaps
  • Driving continuous improvement efforts, while reducing risk across all touch-points in the trade path.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries.
  • Addressing ad hoc queries from operations, technology, and the front office.
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for defect fixes, enhancements, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitating training for new application users.
  • Working with the business, technology, and operations to determine priorities, schedule of releases, and requirements gathering.

Qualifications

  • Private Bank, Private Wealth Management or Chase Wealth Management experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; concentration in Finance or Business Management a plus.
  • 2 - 3 years of financial industry experience; Investment product knowledge a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Internet technologies.
  • Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
  • A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism.
  • Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business.
  • Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required
  • Client Service, Brokerage/Trade Operations or Technology background is a nice to have.
  • Obtaining the Series 99 within 120 days of employment
