Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales or customer-facing solutions in a cloud computing environment.
• Experience in big data, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS technologies, application development on Web 2.0, DevOps infrastructure, enterprise networking, or virtualization/migration/configuration management.
• Must have work authorization in Australia.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with architecture patterns and technologies relating to web and mobile applications development (microservices, REST, Django, Flask, Struts) and Backend-as-a-Service for cloud-connected applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos).
• Experience in managing data, databases, and cloud technologies, i.e., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Experience with SaaS solutions, i.e., productivity/collaboration suites and distributed/scale out architectures on IaaS and PaaS on public cloud.
• Ability to create demo scripts in Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Shell and to manage systems for Unix/Linux and Windows.
• Understanding of network identity management systems, including SSO, SAML, LDAP, Kerberos.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities, trends, and market solution areas. Develop key strategies to solve complex technical scenarios.
• Manage technical aspects of solution, such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, and proof-of-concept work, and coordinating technical resources.
• Demonstrate prototype integrations for Google Cloud's products in customer/partner environments.
• Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Google Cloud's value proposition, using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management and RFI response documents.
• Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure to successfully implement a complete solution, providing “best practice” advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud's effectiveness.
