Job Description

A Phantom Works program team is looking for DevOps engineers to join our Mission Systems Software team to participate in the coordination, integration, and flow of software development in support of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) program operations. This Engineer will be part of a very dynamic software development team and be expected to be a self starter who can work with high level direction. We are always looking for new and better ways to do things – so strategic thinkers are desired.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Create and maintain reusable build templates in Jenkins/Bamboo
  • Stand up and maintain additional build agents in Jenkins/Bamboo
  • Automate tools to monitor builds and build machine health
  • Automate static analysis and other cyber security tools as part of the build pipeline
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate test failures in the build pipeline
  • Jira & Confluence administration support
  • Deployment in Git branching strategies (Git Flow)

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Current/Active Secret security clearance is required. (Note: If you held a security clearance within the last two years, your clearance is considered current/active).
  • Experience with traditional Software Configuration Management (SCM) roles
  • Experience with Metrics Automation and Generation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Java, JavaScript, C/C++, PHP
  • JUnit/CppUnit
  • Gradle, Maven, CMake
  • MS Visual Studio and Eclipse
  • Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Bash, Python, Groovy, Powershell
  • Linux, Windows, VMware, Knowledge and understanding of Certs, Storage Fundamentals

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
