What you’ll be doing ...
- The Customer Consulting Demonstration Leader is focused on building and maintaining compelling Tableau product demonstration systems for usage by the broader Customer Consulting organization during sales and account activities. This individual has their pulse on the Analytics market and the needs of Tableau prospects to create impactful demonstration content that effectively highlights the value of Tableau and provides differentiation within the market. In addition, they are responsible for collecting and organizing demonstration content from across the Customer Consulting organization, including verticalized solutions. Finally, this individual should possess strong cloud and container knowledge in order to create and maintain scalable and efficient servers for usage by the broader team.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include...
- Build and maintain Tableau sales product demonstration content for Customer Consulting (presales) team
- Understand and collect impactful demonstration content from across the Customer Consulting Team
- Distribute and maintain library of Customer Consulting demonstration content
- Provide thought leadership around key Analytics market and competitive trends
- Understand competitive differentiation points for inclusion in demonstration systems
- Develop and maintain demonstration servers
- Work with our vertically focused teams to understand potential vertical solutions
- Become an expert in the features, benefits, and application of Tableau’s products
- Utilize augmented analytics skills, including GIS and ML, to enhance product demonstrations
- Utilize strong graphical design skills to improve the look-and-feel of demonstration content
- Deliver web-based demonstrations and 1:1 sessions both internally and externally
- Provide mentoring in creating and delivering impactful demonstrations
Who you are...
- Experienced. 15+ years’ experience in a Sales Engineer/ Sales Consulting/ Technical Account Management role. Preferred previous experience in a Demonstration Lead position
- Highly Technical. Familiarity with databases, business intelligence systems, and or data analysis tools, Advanced GIS Knowledge & ML/Predictive (Python, R) capabilities + Batch and Customization development/coding skills & production cloud infrastructure skills & Advanced Graphical design knowledge. Understanding of SQL or MDX
- Domain. Deep Tableau desktop, server, prep or equivalent solution skills
- Excellent Communication. Strong presentation skills to both business and technical audiences & ability to translate knowledge across diverse industries and situations. Proven collaborator and liaison with all levels and departments within an organization. Ability to translate knowledge across diverse industries and situations
- Performer . Proven experience succeeding in the sale of software to business users in all industries.
