Communications Security (Comsec) Account Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Communications Security (Comsec) Account Manager to work as part of an agile and dynamic team supporting the delivery of world-leading Defence products and services to the Australian Defence Force. Reporting to the National Security Manager and based in Williamtown (NSW) the Comsec Account Manager will be responsible for the management of Comsec accounts in accordance with Australian Government and Defence policy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with project stakeholders and Comsec authorities to apply knowledge and expertise in Comsec policy and operating procedures to a growing business with a pipeline of future projects.

Responsibilities:

• Management, accounting and securing of accountable Comsec material in compliance with Government and Defence doctrine and procedures.
• Provision of Comsec subject matter expertise to program stakeholders including the development and maintenance of BDA Comsec policies, procedures and work instructions
• Management of Comsec personnel security and access requirements, and provision of training.

Experience/qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Australian Government and Defence Comsec policy, operating procedures and responsibilities and their application in the Defence Industry context.
• Completed applicable Defence Comsec training.
• Recent experience as a Comsec Account Manager covering Comsec accounting, personnel access, training, physical security and Comsec incident management.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. Candidates must be suitable to obtain an NV2 security clearance.
