Position summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally


Work You’ll Do

Assist in creating technology solutions to meet the business needs of clients. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Under supervision, define systems strategy and develop system requirements. Help design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. As part of a team, perform full system development life cycle implementations. Aid with providing solution development and application architecture. Facilitate the performance of business process analysis, mapping, and design. Analyze and perform current state system analysis. Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, and development to testing and go live. Perform technology implementations, mainframe modernization and automation initiatives by analyzing, designing, and developing the system using SDLC and Agile methodology. Support business process engineering by designing and developing the system using SQL, Oracle, Java, .NET, MVC, Corticon, XML and Visual Studio. Engineer enterprise data exchange using Informatica batches to transfer data with external federal and state agencies. Develop system requirements by developing use cases and preparing client deliverables for all the phases of projects. Create functional test objectives and scenarios to validate end-to-end system functionality and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Prepare prioritization matrix to expedite resolution of production incidents during software maintenance. Conduct system design, feasibility and cost studies, and recommending cost-effective solutions to clients after analyzing business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree field or a related field of study.
  • One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.
  • Must have one year of experience with:
    • Performing technology implementations, mainframe modernization and automation initiatives by analyzing, designing and developing the system using SDLC and Agile methodology;
    • Supporting business process engineering by architecting and developing the system using SQL, Oracle, Java, .NET, MVC, Corticon, XML and Visual Studio;
    • Engineering enterprise data exchange using Informatica batches to transfer data with external federal and state agencies;
    • Developing system requirements by developing use cases and preparing client deliverables for all the phases of projects;
    • Creating functional test objectives and scenarios to validate end-to-end system functionality and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
    • Preparing prioritization matrix to expedite resolution of production incidents during software maintenance;
    • Conducting system design, feasibility and cost studies and recommending cost-effective solutions to clients after analyzing business requirements.
  • 15% travel required.
