The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for the firm’s overall objectives of enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of cybersecurity services to Deloitte member firms through regional delivery hubs and a Global Fusion Center. We are seeking a Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) senior analyst to join the team.

The Azure information protection senior analyst reports to the data classification rights management manager. The role focuses on project delivery and operations of our global data classification and enterprise rights management technology. The primary focus of the position is support for Microsoft Azure Information Protection and related services. The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in the relevant technologies, ability to deliver excellent service as part of a diverse, international team.

Responsibilities

As part of the Global Cybersecurity team, you will be:
Strategic

  • Providing periodic operational and ad-hoc AIP solution reports, covering targeted trend information designed to help measure and monitor risk of sensitive data loss, by identifying data encryption and data classification usage and compliance.
  • Working with various groups to translate business needs into technical AIP requirements and further developing, testing, and implementing of those customized scoped polices.

Operational

  • Performing health checks of the MS Azure Information Protection (AIP) infrastructure and application to determine system uptime and availability
  • Addressing technology and user issues (i.e. AIP client components, OS and MS Office Applications)
  • Liaising with member firm IT to provide support and troubleshooting for AIP related issue issues. (Triage and remediation)
  • Assisting to unprotect files / emails based on business needs and pre-defined approval process.
  • Creating and updating relevant service process and procedure documentation

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Work experience

  • Minimum of 5years of combined experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity domain
  • Proven track record and experience of the following in a highly complex and global organization:
    • Microsoft Azure Information Protection and/or AD-RMS
    • Driving resolution and mitigation of issues

Certification

  • Professional security management certification strongly desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials

Skills/abilities

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Information Protection and/or AD-RMS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure AD and/or O365 services
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues and assisting to mitigate issues
  • Experience with supporting client-server technologies
  • Experience with PowerShell command-line scripting is a plus
  • Windows infrastructure engineering experience is a plus
  • Experience with one or more of the following development languages is a plus: C/C++, Java, Objective C, C#
  • Experience working on global projects is a plus
  • Experience working in a virtual team is a plus
