The Role

To that end, Tesla is seeking a hardworking and passionate Product Manager with experience in digital products and product analytics. This Product Manager will be part of a team that is focused on delivering a highly scalable scheduling platform that enables our customers to schedule appointments for test drives, deliveries, service appointments, factory tours and energy installations. As a member of the Digital Products team, you'll work to not only build new features, but also to collect and analyze data to inform the direction of our product development.

Responsibilities

· Gather and analyze data to measure product performance, spot trends, and make recommendations.

· Work with and/or shadow users often.

· Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements, creating buy-in from other teams as necessary.

· Define and write detailed user stories.

· Be one with Sherlock Holmes. Be willing to jump in and solve problems and help to triage/debug issues communicated by users.

· Prioritize and filter through multiple tasks/projects at any given time.

· Successfully work with a cross range of teams including engineering, sales, service, delivery, energy and factory stakeholders.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience (technology background not required)

· 1-2 years of experience in product management and/or product analytics.

· Previous product analytics a plus (ie. Google Analytics).

· Proven analytical skills to understand metrics, build insights from data, and relate data to business problems.

· Beginner proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, communication platforms and tools.

· Basic understanding of technology development best practices (such as Agile, etc.)

· Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Be comfortable with failing fast and learning from those failures.

· Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and be able to operate effectively without close supervision.

· At the top of your resume, name your favorite product (software or hardware) and give one short idea as to how you would improve it.

· Ability to manage and build relationships with stakeholders.

· Manages well in a high paced start-up environment.
