Providence is calling a Security Support Specialist (Security, Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. *Please note that this is an on-call, supplemental role used to cover time off, call sick, and other departmental needs. *

The Security Support Specialist will perform their work in a business office receiving phone calls for non-emergency security and parking requests, remotely manage parking gates and access doors via intercom, monitor video surveillance cameras in high risk areas, and perform various administrative and badging duties as assigned.

This is an entry-level administrative support role for someone who is dependable, comfortable working with multiple computer systems, has outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to multitask. If you join the Security Services team, you’ll be part of an incredibly hard working and fun team responsible for delivering exceptional service to the hospitals and business locations including a countless number of caregivers, patients, and visitors across the Spokane Service Area.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible to monitor parking gate, access control, badging, video surveillance, and intercom systems for Spokane Service Area hospitals and clinics.
• Perform their work in a call center environment receiving non-emergency requests in person and over the phone relating to parking, badging and access.
• Provide after-hours remote visitor management and surveillance monitoring of entrances utilizing intercom and video surveillance systems.
• Perform general administrative support tasks and data entry in support of Security Services and Emergency Management.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• One year of experience in customer service, administrative, communications, or security related work
• Proficient using PC with Microsoft office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Type a minimum of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Associate's Degree
• Three years of experience in customer service, administrative, communications, or security related work
