Job Description

Boeing's ET&T (Engineering Test & Technology) organization is seeking an Experienced Design Build Structural Analysis Engineer located in St. Louis, Missouri. You will be responsible for analyzing test hardware in support of Flight and Lab Test Instrumentation, Special Test Equipment, and Test Bench Designs across Defense, Space, and Commercial programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate and provide inputs during design reviews
  • Analyze design details, assemblies, and installations.
  • Coordinate Interface loads
  • Generate strength analysis reports
  • Provide liaison/non-conformance build support

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • More than 1 year of structural analysis and/or design related experience
  • Experience using 3D CAD systems

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with analyzing test hardware
