What you’ll be doing...
The Business Analyst is a key part of Tableau’s growth and expansion. Responsibilities include performing analysis, forecasting, reporting and other operational support for headcount management and planning.
Some of the things you will be doing...
- Weekly and ad hoc updates to and validation of Employee Master data
- Building and maintaining the Consolidator module in Anaplan (the next evolution of the Employee Master)
- Supporting Workplace modeling for office growth and expansion
- Liaise with Sales Planning, Commissions, Recruiting, HR and FP&A teams for headcount tracking & planning
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to a variety of teams
- Create vizzes & reports that help teams with headcount planning
- Support system and process implementations, alongside HR, Technical Operations and Finance
- Use mathematical concepts, experience, analytical skills, and industry knowledge to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Provide business process improvement and documentation to boost operational efficiency
Who you are...
- Data Driven. Exceptional data analysis skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage various data points to achieve a common goal (people knowledge, Excel files, external tools, other internal data)
- Technically Savvy. Ability to become an expert in Tableau’s full product suite. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Team Player. Excels in a dynamic fast-paced work environment
- Communicator. Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Organized. Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks at one time
- Proven project execution skills with a strong desire to document best practices and process improvements
- Experienced. 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, finance, statistics or other related fields. Software industry experience preferred
- Educated. BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience
