Airbnb is looking for a creative production lead to head production for the EMEA arm of Airbnb Creative, our internal, multi-disciplinary team of creatives. Across design, photography, video, experiential, interactive, and social, this team stewards the visual brand and focuses on creating meaningful engagements between our brand and rapidly-growing extended community. We are a global team, connected to every department in the company as well as to outside agencies and creatives. Together with these partners, we develop concrete, creative solutions to sometimes vague or ambiguous problems.
Summary:
- Reporting to Global Head of Production with a dotted line to the Regional Marketing Director and working in partnership with the EMEA Creative Director and broader Marketing team, s/he will manage production of content and concept exploration from idea to execution, and enhance the creative, strategic, and storytelling objectives of Airbnb’s product marketing initiatives.
- Role requires a strategic storytelling sensibility, visual and design sensibility, and a deep understanding of the right production talent required to execute the project at hand.
- Collaborative in approach, empathetic in nature, and steadfast in intention.
- Comfortable prototyping throughout creative development to test out ideas. The process of creating, iterating, improving, and starting over should feel like a natural process. Must be flexible trying things that haven’t been done before.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production of all EMEA content development, acting as integrated lead in partnership with Creative Director.
- Partner with Regional Marketing Director and regional marketing ops team to determine prioritisation and ensure respective allocation of resources.
- Manage production deliverables - some hands-on from concept to final execution, some higher level with a discipline-specific producer owning the day to day.
- Manage project-based production schedules and budgets (some hands-on, some higher level). Work closely with Marketing Director to drive efficiencies and ensure project budgets are accounted for in the larger program budget. Work closely to align on creative development schedules that allow for excellence in production.
- Manage outside partners/agencies as necessary based on the needs of the project. Negotiate vendor contracts, working with Creative Ops to facilitate PO reqs and invoice payments.
- Archive final deliverables, or hold discipline-specific producer accountable for this.
- Ensure that deliverables adhere to briefs, Airbnb vision and intention, and reflect feedback throughout the process. Work to create alignment among stakeholders and partners throughout the deliverable production process.
- Work with team to ensure resourcing plan meets larger skill set needs of project, contractor needs are identified and sourced.
- Establish close, nimble relationships with Marketing Managers, Business Owners, and Content Creators and leverage these to build and refine processes that close knowledge gaps.
- Nurture existing and create new relationships within the creative industry as well as internal partner teams, in an effort to position the team to react whenever required with smart, inspired creative solutions that build brand love.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant career experience.
- Solid network of production contacts in core markets (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy) as well as across the globe.
- Polished communication and organizational skills.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced workplace. Ability to visualize a range of solutions rapidly.
- Passion for process and time-management. Able to juggle tasks and prioritize.
- Spreadsheet master, basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, familiar with production process and terminology, comprehension of design and film language.
- Articulate and helpful; a natural host.
- Proactive desire to understand and take pride in how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
- Drive to make the best work possible with the resources available, but ability to prioritize and know when to push back if the team can’t be successful.
