Experiential Marketing Manager

Job Description:

  • Ideate, develop, research, strategize, and manage the Experiential Marketing events for your territory within the US & Canada Region focused on the end goals of brand awareness, lead generation, and marketing qualified leads.
  • Plan, produce, and execute Experiential Marketing events across the region.
    • 4-10 events per month, with an approximate yearly average of 6 events per month.
    • Events will include, but are not limited to; hyper-targeted sales events, external events & conferences, field activations, segment based sales events, brand campaign etc.
  • Help create and drive the Experiential Marketing strategy for the region with for your territory with your team and cross-functional counterparts.
  • Manage frequent stakeholder interactions, reporting, projects with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to; GMs, Marketing, Sales, Public Affairs, Community Teams, etc.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal cross-functional partners
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics and results
  • Responsible for the development of event related marketing materials
  • Content and execution for event related email marketing campaigns
  • Adheres to budget systems and guidelines for all programming within region
  • Provide input to create, adjust, and refine best practice documents for the team.
  • Ensures compliance of local laws/restrictions for programming

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4+ years of directly relevant experience: event marketing, event production, retail programming experience preferred
  • 2+ years experience in marketing
  • Willing to travel 2-3 times per month within the US & Canada, 1-3 days per trip
  • A self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for executional excellence
  • Deep understanding of, and passion for, WeWork’s mission and existing community
  • Strong experiential acumen—you know how to create and produce thoughtful, engaging events that deliver against strategic objectives and are tailored for the intended audience, whether in our locations or elsewhere
  • Are curious, with a pulse on culture, brands, and trends in event marketing
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Creative thinker and problem solver—always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cross-functionally collaborate to execute projects, including with those who may be remote
  • Work with a "no task too big, no task too small” attitude
  • Are never satisfied with the status quo, always thinking "how can we do this better?"
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and demonstrate team leadership skills
  • Experience learning and navigating within a high-growth and fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products is a must
  • Knowledge of Splash, Slack, Salesforce, and Looker are a plus
