Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams to ensure deliverables are met
  • Manage project budget, monitoring and reconciliation processes
  • Track project performance against defined milestones/goals
  • Assess project risks, identify contingency actions, and develop/manage a risk plan
  • Conduct process improvement projects to increase performance in vital program metrics
  • Determine completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan
  • Communicate ongoing project health with key stakeholders and business leadership
  • Maintain strict compliance with established project management policies and guidelines
  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Assists Director, senior managers and other team members with program planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost analysis, proposal preparation, implementation, performance analysis, internal communications, contract negotiations, and change orders, etc.
  • Oversee and lead the initiation, planning, execution, and implementation phases of projects and assignments within the Review department
  • Assess the function's quality, identify opportunities, and develop a plan for improvement
  • Monitor and manage the functions staffing levels

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a project manager role.
  • Loan Processing experience strongly preferred
  • Student loan originations, consumer credit or consumer lending experience preferred
  • Experience hiring, training, motivating, monitoring and coaching teams of employees
  • Financial services specific customer service experience preferred

  • Strong supervisory and management skills Strong written communication skills. Must be able to answer questions and communicate issues clearly & concisely to members and all level of employee.
  • Ability to react to change quickly and implement new processes & procedures
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Professional demeanor and excellent work habits are essential

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are based on business need. Weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
