As a Sales Operations Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives and special projects affecting Groupon’s multi-billion local business. Our priorities and focuses vary based on the needs of the organization, but often include project management, analytics, process improvement, and leading cross-functional team initiatives.

You’ll spend time on the following:

• Support end-to-end project management of special projects across all project phases, from design to launch to scaling to close out/transition; successful performance will lead to increased responsibilities, including independent project ownership
• Meet with and present regular project updates to leadership
• Work with a diverse group of partners in departments across the company
• Conduct analysis and provide recommendations on operational topics such as compensation, lead management, and sales performance
• Compile and develop playbooks to support rollout of successful initiatives
• Build and maintain key operational reporting and streamline ad-hoc reporting
• Partner with Business Intelligence and other key business divisions to ensure alignment of reporting and metrics
• Act as a liaison between operations and sales to identify opportunities for improvement in reporting/processes and develop models to gauge impact of implementing potential initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert on all things sales operations and conduct training sessions with the sales team
• Conduct analysis and communicate recommendations to management on how to initiate better performance
• Proactively identify opportunities for growth or improvement within sales rep measurement or productivity
• Partner with Finance, HR, and Compensation to mantein compensation plan and target systems

We’re excited about you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree, business degree preferred
• Experience in sales, project management, or analytics; management consulting or financial analyst experience preferred; project leadership experience a plus
• You're deeply analytical, with proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditionals) and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or SQL a plus
• Deep consulting and negotiating skills
• Adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges or tough conversations, you face them head-on
• Able to convey complex information to a broad audience, both by email and in person
• You're a creative problem solver who can think strategically to identify problems and recommend effective plans of action
• You have experience crafting results in an independent role
• You're able to work independently, take initiative, and remain flexible in an ever-changing environment
• You get excited by working with data, measuring performance, and making objective decisions based on quantitative and/or deductive reasoning
