The Senior Field Marketing Manager, Client will drive the client go-to-market strategy for the Canadian Small, Mid-sized and National/GB segments (SMN). This will involve developing and delivering marketing plans to support demand generation activities, vertical segment analysis and focused marketing programs for client marketing in these segments.

The Senior Field Marketing Manager, Client is responsible for delivering an integrated plan of marketing programs, events and communications that drive three main focus areas:

  • customer satisfaction
  • up-sell of additional products
  • retention, loyalty and referenceability
    The role will be responsible for understanding overall SMN Client business goals and working collaboratively with a broader team to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure marketing programs to meet those goals. This role will also be responsible for owning and expanding our customer champions program.
    This position works closely with Regional Sales, Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing and Corporate Marketing to drive functional alignment and measure marketing and sales pipeline.
    The role is a budget owner for specific tactics/strategies and is required to manage and report on spend in line with finance team requirements. This individual must be an excellent communicator, have strong cross group collaboration skills, be action oriented and be good at planning and organization.
    As an individual contributor, the incumbent will be responsible for understanding overall business goals and working collaboratively with broader teams to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure marketing programs to meet those goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Canadian cross sell, upsell and retention strategy for SMN client marketing.
  • Develop marketing programs targeting key segments to generate leads, maximize conversion rates and generate sales demand
  • Interlock with corporate, SAP Marketing and local marketing to promote and support programs, web content, collateral, white papers, and case studies
  • Report on results via key analytical tools providing metrics and comparing against benchmarks, response and conversion rates and pipeline
  • Analyze data for trends & develop and execute corresponding actions
  • Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Must be comfortable working independently as part of a remote team
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Education, Experience and Training required:

  • Degree level education with 10+ years marketing experience in B2B marketing
  • Quantifable and Proven experience creating and implementing programs that target then cross sell and upsell to increase SOW from customers
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, marketing automation, and business intelligence tools
  • Must be comfortable working independently as part of a remote team
  • Broad business acumen: ability to interpret and utilize industry information to analyze opportunities
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
