We connect customers with Personal Shoppers in their area to shop for their groceries from their favorite stores for pickup or delivery. About the Role:
As a Full Time In-Store Shopper, you will shop for customer orders and get them ready for delivery or curbside pickup. You'll work alongside your team and have the opportunity to interact directly with customers to provide them with the freshest groceries and best service possible. Every day, you'll help our customers get the products they love when they want them. Instacart has launched over 150 markets in the past year and is on track to bring Instacart to more households and expand offerings in existing markets. Instacart has created an amazing shopping experience by providing customers with fast delivery or curbside pickup while maintaining high-quality service.

Scheduling

• Must be available for 32+ total hours a week
• Must be available to work dedicated shift windows
• Must be available to work between 8am - 8pm during their assigned days
• Shifts can change weekly but will remain in the specified window
• Shoppers can swap shifts with operations approval
• Blackout days include:
• 7 days leading up to Thanksgiving
• 7 days leading up to Christmas
• President’s Day
• Labor Day
• Memorial Day

Requirements

• Availability to work at least 32+ hours a week
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver customer service that exceeds customer needs
• Qualified applicants must be able to do the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout shift
• Remain standing or walking, including up and down stairs, during shift
