We are looking for a Data Center Technician in our downtown St. Louis Missouri location. Our Technicians main focus is on server installation and maintenance duties in a 24/7 monitored Data Center. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and being fluid in your expectations will help you. We seek someone with Data Center experience that has a real passion for technology. We are a small, scrappy group and being a team fit is just as meaningful as having the technical skills. You love a good challenge, and thrive on building a better infrastructure for our customers. Responsibilities:

• You will rack and stack servers, manage networking equipment, and take ownership in maintaining high availability for our millions of customer's websites
• You will perform hardware troubleshooting and maintenance on mission critical systems (storage, network, servers)
• Perform data and power cable management, accomplish inventory control for servers, components and cables
• Respond to regular phone requests from 24x7 Operations Center
• Respond to trouble tickets in a timely manner with accurate and detailed information to resolve and fix server issues
• Build relationships with the proper channels of business to call out items as necessary when they require further attention
• Be a self-starter, and critical thinker to take on server related issues as they arise
• Keep the data center clean, picked up, and organized during your shift

Requirements:

• We're looking for 3+ years of experience as a Technician in a Data Center and possess extensive and detail knowledge of hardware and operations (Linux, Windows, command line)
• Experience solving PC and server hardware issues
• Experience working in a large data center (100+ servers) is preferred
• You have a flexible work schedule, are open to working overnight 3rd shift hours, and are also able to work extended hours as needed
• This role will require you to be physically active throughout the shift. You will be asked to stand, climb, bend and lift up to 40lbs up to 85% of your shift
