Merchant Marketing CRM Manager International
Team Summary:
Do you combine the analytical mind of quant jock with the pen of a poet? If so, you could be our Merchant Marketing CRM Manager. Our international Merchant Marketing team is working on some of the most exciting initiatives for our partners, enabling every aspect of our partnership with our merchants to focus on engagement and maximizing merchant life time value at every stage.
We are seeking a superstar CRM Manager to lead a world class lifecycle program that activates and accelerate revenue, a high-impact strategist who can oversee planning and prioritization of marketing programs that improve lead conversion rate and reduce merchant attrition (e.g. lead nurture programs). You will partner closely with our sales organization and consumer marketing team to define organization wide process and merchant experience, which efficiently achieve these goals.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Establish best in class, automated and personalised life-cycle programs to provide the sales org with qualified and conversation-ready leads that have a high probability to be closed, with a focus on ‘right information, at the right time to the right consumer (merchant)
- Day to day usage of our main CRM tool Eloqua and our merchant database platform Salesforce to execute CRM programs, monitor performance and data integrations
- Create and analyze reports, develop a testing strategy and assess the results of each marketing effort
- Manage CRM calendar incl. scheduling for all Intl Merchant Marketing email touchpoints
- Oversee email content creation (internally and by leveraging external services), final review & approval
- Effectively collaborate with business leads, country managers and various stakeholders to ensure tight alliances, an open feedback loop to drive continuous improvements
- Be the champion for customer data segmentation, lead scoring strategy, database health improvement strategies and growth for B2B efforts in Merchant Marketing, collaborating closely with sales, sales operations and outside resources and vendors
- Proactively manage vendors, agencies, external resources, responsible for their day to day delivery, and manage for continuous improvements. Manage budgets, ensuring relationships and activities deliver value and a strong ROI for Groupon
Skills, Competencies and Required Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience leading lifecycle, CRM and/or Engagement/Loyalty Marketing programs
- Track record in creative and data-driven, B2B and ideally B2C marketing programs with solid understanding of CRM, life-cycle and customer LTV
- Bachelor`s degree required, Master`s degree preferred (Marketing, Computer Science/Statistics or similar)
- Ideal candidates have multi-year experience executing campaigns via Salesforce and Eloqua. Experience in other CRM and Marketing Automation and mass email tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized indirect channels: A/B tests, multivariate and funnel tests.
- Strategic marketing program development and big-picture thinking in B2B ecommerce
