Groupon is looking for a qualified specialist to join the International Mobile Marketing Team in the Marketing Org. Our team is responsible for manual, automated and user triggered Push Notifications, in-App user communications and App user experience improvement. We manage the fastest growing channels in one of the largest consumer Marketing programs in the world.

In this role you will be accountable for discovering, proving with numbers, and implementing initiatives to drive growth for Groupon Mobile channels in 13 International markets. You will be working closely with Product teams and will be their Marketing counterpart.

Candidates for the Mobile Marketing Program Manager role must have Marketing and Project Management experience, and thrive in high performance cultures. They must be comfortable working across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities - what we ask of you

What we will ask of you:

  • Work with Head of Mobile Marketing, and other leaders to deliver Mobile marketing initiatives
  • Own and lead your initiatives implementation into business day to day operations
  • Work with our stakeholders to facilitate all analysis and measurement reporting required. Analyse reports, develops testing strategy and execute it
  • Communicate clearly with business leadership at weekly business reviews
  • Create and maintain roadmap / handbook for your initiatives for 13 International markets, be responsible for business scope documentation
  • Make data driven decisions, understand the risk factors and growth opportunities
  • Curate the mobile customer experience
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments from around the globe to achieve your own goals

Requirements - what we need you to have

  • Educated to at least bachelor degree level
  • Minimum 2 years experience of owning and delivering email /mobile messaging activity
  • Understanding of email and mobile push messaging is essential
  • Communication and influencing skills including a high level of written and spoken English
  • Proactive and self-driven with a drive to get hands on and ‘stuck in’
  • Ability to prioritise, organize other teams involved and deliver to deadlines
  • A drive to stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies and consumer trends
  • Experience with cross functional and virtual teams both internally and externally
  • Strategic program development and big picture thinking
  • Familiarity with key marketing metrics – analytical expertise. Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct channels
