Job Description

TRI Ventures, Inc. d/b/a Aquent LLC (“Aquent”) seeks a Structural Data Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts.

Duties: Define and analyze business data and deliver insights to various business groups. Gather and analyze economic data. Create datasets for reporting, analytics, and internal client use. Document and standardize data definition and usage. Create reports and visuals using Tableau. Perform research and troubleshooting to determine trends and root cause analysis to reflect business changes. Perform data retrieval and transformation and create dataflow structure. Define standards for measurement to ensure consistency of data usage.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience performing data extraction, transformation and analysis. One (1) year of experience must include: (i) defining standards for data storage and use; (ii) producing reports and visualizations in Tableau software; (iii) developing triggers, queries, and stored procedures using SQL and writing queries and stored procedures to create datasets for internal analysis and dissemination; (iv) performing analysis on data and delivering results to stakeholders across the business; (v) interfacing with stakeholders to understand business requirements and create actionable definitions; (vi) utilizing R, Python, Java or other similar programming languages; (vii) experience with data from Google analytics and mixpanel; and (viii) troubleshooting in SQL, Tableau, and AWS Redshift.
