Cloud Engineering
Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
As a Cloud Automation Architect, you will lead technical teams to architect, build out and deploy a cloud automation solution to support enterprise clients. This will require all dimensions of cloud architecture including:
• Architecting application designs using Cloud Services
• Building, migrating and testing Cloud environments and integration with other providers
• Designing end to end application and data security
• Leading application migration projects including optimizing technical reliability and improving application performance
• Integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms
• Implementing cost optimized solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)

Qualifications

Technical Requirements
• Bachelor-level degree in engineering, information technology, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications
• Ability to architect enterprise applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understand cloud security from Access Identity Management to Security Groups
• Deep knowledge of automation scripts and tools like bash, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation and Terraform
• Understand how to deploy multi-tier application across a custom defined Virtual Private Cloud
• Ability to setup multi-level network environments
• Ability to design scalable, secure, reliable and efficient technical cloud ecosystems to support enterprise applications
• Experience with API and Gateway functions like Lambda and API Gateway (or equivalent)

Consulting Requirements
• 9+ years of relevant consulting, industry or technology experience
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred
 AWS certification - – Associate/Professional Solution Architect, SysOps Administrator
 Experience with Linux and/or windows based OS including virtual machines like AMI, Redhat, SUSE or Windows Server
 Experience with VMware products
 Working knowledge of ITIL and/or agile methodologies
