Job Description

The Fitbit Marketing team is seeking a Sr. Director of Brand Marketing to lead the development of new product introductions and manage our cohesive brand message globally.

Sr. Director will be a critical contributor to brand strategy, lead marketing campaign development, and GTM execution. Grow the Fitbit brand to be a global leader in health and fitness motivation and guidance and help create new experiences to deepen our connections with consumers, partners and the community.

What You'll Do

  • Key contributor to comprehensive brand strategy development (vision, mission, values, positioning, architecture, etc).
  • Create narratives that artfully weave together the brand, consumer and the business to help guide agency partners and internal creative teams.
  • Translate strategy into integrated product and brand plans, campaign deployment, and global alignment.
  • Oversee and optimize integrated marketing execution across the marketing mix from digital to TV to print.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing groups (Product, Media Planning, PR, Digital, Social etc.) to drive strategic marketing planning and execution.
  • Partner with Consumer Research to develop metrics and methodology to track and measure brand health
  • Partner with creative directors to manage and guide design and creative development
  • Develop internal guidelines, brand assets, and product launch toolkits to enable the organization to execute against the brand efficiently and with a singular voice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and shape new consumer experiences that reinforce and strengthen our brand tenets.

What You'll Need

  • Experience with creating, launching and/or revamping national or global consumer brands in a variety of context and scenarios.
  • Demonstrated acumen in both leveraging data to establish and build key metrics and the ability to provide direction and feedback to creative agencies and internal teams.
  • Experience managing complex projects and agency relationships
  • Proven track record of successfully building and executing major marketing and advertising campaigns from conception to execution to optimization
  • Outstanding collaborator with strong teamwork and management skills and the ability to collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
  • 12+ years of consumer brand management ideally in health and fitness, experience in consumer electronics a plus
