About The Role

As a designer working with the Data Trust team, you will help technically-minded users get their data into Mixpanel and maintain its quality over time. Your focus will be reimagining the developer experience as well as improving our existing data management and debugging tools. This is critical to customer success because product analytics isn't very useful without accurate, reliable data.

Recent projects from this team include:

• Lexicon Schemas API — sync an internal data dictionary or tracking plan with Mixpanel
• Lexicon Import — import data definitions from Segment, mParticle, Iteratively, or Avo
• Service Accounts — authenticate requests to APIs with this special type of user

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Has the ability to design user interfaces, user flows, interactions and prototypes that bring clarity to complex problems
• Possesses a high level of comfort with the technical aspects of an Enterprise tool and/or API product
• Understands modern engineering tools and practices
• Leverages quantitative as well as qualitative data to audit and analyze their work
• Works closely with designers, product managers and engineers to see a project from concept through implementation and beyond
• Connects every design decision to business and user goals
• Presents to teammates and stakeholders

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience designing for a technical audience
• Prior experience in B2B, Enterprise tools and/or API products
• Prior experience working within a distributed design and product team
