We are looking for a Manager in our Security Compliance Team to help own initiatives, manage individuals, and continue to grow our function. You should be a hardworking and ambitious individual, will pursue roles and responsibilities in audit, compliance, and/or security operations. We’re predominantly a SaaS shop, and to be successful here you are willing to learn to work with applications such as NetSuite, Zuora, RevPro, Workday, Coupa, among others.
What you get to do every single day:
- Work cross functionally across product, engineering and other operational teams to perform various transactional control tests to provide assurance that the data is complete and accurate
- Partner with product teams to stay up-to-date on new product pipelines and provide guidance on risks and controls
- Manage a team of employees in order to:
- Build quarterly roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of committed projects via agile methodology
- Build and continuously refine better audit evidence collection, better documentation, and a better user experience supporting auditors
- Help ensure internal teams are ready for external audits
- Participate in and help to lead the Company’s overall IT SOX compliance program by identifying and articulating real risks, as well as, recommend improvements by helping design effective controls to mitigate them
- Track and report findings and work with teams to investigate the root cause, remediate deficiency and mitigate risks
- Align and consult with key control owners including IT, Legal, Sales, Finance Operations, and fellow Security team members
- Plan and perform internal audits to assess control design and effectiveness
- Perform gap assessments of existing controls/requirements on new environments and tools
What you bring to the role:
- BA/BS degree in a related field, MS or MA preferred, and a minimum of 5 years experience in IT audit, information security, and/or compliance. Big 4 and/or SOX experience preferred.
- Ability to run teams as a scrum master, integrating agile principles as appropriate
- Build, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with business and technology partners, acting as a trusted advisor that can collaborate to solve complex problems
- Deep understanding of IT and finance business processes such as order to cash, source to pay, HR & Payroll, treasury, financial close, and software development lifecycle
- High level knowledge of current risk, security frameworks, and trends; Knowledge of SOX and OFAC requirements, as well as global data protection and privacy laws
- Able to rapidly adapt to new tools used in day to day work to include systems like Jira, Confluence, Slack, salesforce, Workday, GitHub, Zendesk, etc.
- Consistent track record of performing audits, risk assessments, and reviewing and developing key controls
- Comfortable presenting and communicating issues and challenges to Executive Management
- Able to effectively work with technical and non-technical resources
- Excellent written and verbal skills and a healthy desire for partnership, using your strong social skills and tact in all interactions both in and out of our organization
- Willing to work on a Night Shift
