About the Recruiting team

We believe the most important responsibility of a manager at Stitch Fix is to build a great team. Our Recruiting team (organized into Technical, Corporate/G&A, High-Volume (Styling, Client Experience and Warehouse), and Recruiting Operations) provides expertise, strategy, coaching, and support for each manager to achieve that vision.

About the role

Hiring is a team sport at Stitch Fix - we are a company with a strong, hands-on culture of recruiting where our managers are highly engaged in the process from start to finish! Our Recruiting team provides expertise, strategy, coaching, and support for every manager to achieve that vision.
The Corporate Recruiter will play a vital role in recruiting for roles across a diverse set of corporate functions. You will support hiring managers and their teams by helping them to build out their recruiting capabilities. You will teach them to use recruiting tools, interviewing techniques and recruiting best practices through daily interactions. You will partner with them to design end-to-end recruiting strategies for their roles, help them find creative ways to source great talent, and guide them in building out robust, customized interviewing processes. Building upon your own ideas and experience, you’ll draw upon the best practices, suggestions, and camaraderie of other Recruiting Team members. And in doing all this, you’ll help us attract the most exceptionally bright, kind and goal-oriented talent to Stitch Fix!

You're excited about the opportunity because you will:

• Collaborate with hiring leaders to understand their team’s talent needs, define sourcing and assessment strategies and drive results throughout the entire recruiting process through both coaching them as well as providing expert, direct support
• Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape for talent through regular research and use this knowledge to guide your own work as well as coaching hiring managers
• Initiate creative, proactive and role-specific sourcing strategies to build a dependable and strong pipeline of top-quality and motivated candidates
• Screen and interview candidates where needed to provide additional insight to hiring managers on which talent is the best fit for the team and for Stitch Fix
• Deliver a consistently wonderful candidate experience, closely tracking their progress, anticipating needs and concerns, communicating in timely and effective manner, coaching interviewers and hiring managers as needed on candidate interactions
• Lead interviewing teams through interview debriefs and support hiring managers in making candidate and hiring decisions
• Partner with hiring managers to extend offers to candidates and strive for 100% acceptance by working with the team to authentically share the best of Stitch Fix
• Help ensure recruiting data in our ATS and other tracking documents is always clean and up-to-date; report progress to business and recruiting leaders and look for insights and trends to help you continually improve our process and candidate experience

• You are personally passionate about recruiting and have 5+ years experience as a recruiter hiring a wide variety of roles and profiles to build high-caliber teams across multiple functions in innovative, high-growth, and fast-changing environments

• You are data-driven, a quick learner, and thrive on using quantitative data, applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse experience a very strong plus) and other tools to inform and drive your best work and help others improve their approaches as well
• You are a hunter at heart. Never content to rely on inbound candidate applications, you love the thrill of sourcing and discovering diamonds we don’t yet know through your own searches as well as finding new channels and places where talent gathers
• They call you ‘the candidate whisperer’, given the intuition, emotional intelligence, and great judgement you bring to your candidate interactions and recaps
• You are comfortable in ambiguity and able to drive your work independently, yet know when to check in with your leaders and teammates or to ask for help
• You are an exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear, concise, and courageous in giving tough but supportive feedback when needed
• Above all else, you are bright, kind and goal-oriented.
