About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of Uber’s growing CRM team, where you will be at the heart of our business impacting tens of millions of people across Europe, Middle East & Africa.

With close ties to regional marketing teams your goal is to increase operational efficiency and support cities with centralized execution. You will work with a broad range of teams along with HQ-based Engineering, Product, and Strategy teams in Amsterdam & San Francisco.

What You’ll Do:

  • Play an integral role in developing clear lifecycle strategies and processes that aim to bring consistency and efficiency to our CRM lifecycle efforts across EMEA.
  • Set and advocate for lifecycle marketing priorities with local and central teams, including: Central Operations, Brand & Design, & Sub-regional/country marketing teams.
  • Obsess over conversion and set concrete KPIs to improve engagement and retention driving continuous improvement of our operations.
  • Analyse large data sets to identify opportunities that drive incremental efficiency at various parts of the funnel.
  • Develop, manage and lead the setup of large-scale comms automations in a highly complex environment that onboard, engage and retain millions of users in EMEA.
  • Rigorously track and monitor past and current campaign performance and user behaviour to recommend strategies and campaigns that will increase engagement.
  • Implement tools and processes to drive local efficiency.
What You’ll Need:
  • BA or MA in Statistics, Business, Economics, Communications or Marketing related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing large scale CRM campaigns spanning multiple countries and languages.
  • Strong project management skills that enable you to work with multiple teams in different time zones, countries and regions. Tackle large-scale challenges but don’t lose sight.
  • Experience working with communications across multiple touch points including SMS, email and in app cards
  • Strong familiarity and passion for customer relationship management and marketing.
  • You are comfortable analysing large sets of data and developing cohesive conclusions.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to fluently communicate with marketing, product and platform teams.
  • Understanding mobile app marketing tech stack and space.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to solving problems and finding solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Experience creating creative and technical campaign briefings.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
