Liquidation Project Manager, Operations

ABOUT THE ROLE As the Liquidation Manager, you will build, oversee, and execute the clearance and liquidation strategy for all domestic and international operations at Stitch Fix. You will bring out-of-the-box thinking and innovation to build a program while working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Strategy, Finance, and Operations. This position reports to a Director of Operations. YOU'LL BE EXCITED ABOUT THE ROLE BECAUSE...

• Explore different models and liquidation options for our clearance product.
• Create an effective global clearance, liquidation, and donation strategy, in partnership with Merchandising, Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• Own the relationship with our our clearance partners while expanding the number and quality.
• Drive increased financial recovery for clearance product.
• Partner with warehouse teams to improve process, efficiency, and flexibility for clearance.
• Work with logistics and freight teams to execute clearance pickups

• You have 5+ years of e-commerce, apparel operations, off-price or other relevant work experience
• You are passionate about the retail industry and keeping clothes out of landfills
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree,
• You are comfortable with Excel and SQL
• You have exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
• You are a tough negotiator
• You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver, and have a high level of accountability
• You have strong attention to detail
• You learn quickly and easily translate ideas into process
• You are flexible and able to multi-task
• You are effective partnering with other groups and working cross-functionally
• You are comfortable having honest conversations and giving/receiving feedback
• You have a “get stuff done” mentality while still keeping focus on the big picture
