SoFi is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and analytical Ad Operations Analyst who excels at problem-solving and working with cross functional teams. This role will be critical in supporting digital marketing initiatives by leading tag generation, event tracking pixels as well as being responsible for QA and troubleshooting. This will require daily interaction with our programmatic agency, as well as internal teams and resources including marketing channel owners (display, SEM, Paid Social, etc.), Product Marketing Managers, and members of the Web/Dev teams. In addition, the role will require corresponding with external partners to ensure accurate tracking and delivery of all digital campaigns and creatives. The Ad Ops Analyst will play an integral role in the development of SoFi’s innovative and cutting edge marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Generate and implement tracking tags and pixels across digital media assets.
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and work with vendors and internal teams to provide instructional and support related to pixel implementation of 3rd party tag and tracker setup & QA.
  • Audit SoFi.com event tags and maintain pixel and tracking setup.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for DCM and other online advertising platforms including DV360 & SA360, reinforcing best practices for pixel and tag setup.
  • Develop processes and mechanisms to proactively QA and troubleshoot issues such as creative rejections, delivery discrepancies and pixel drop-offs.
  • Work with internal teams to identify and develop solutions that automate and improve internal and client ad ops and trafficking operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree - quantitative studies preferred (e.g., math, physical sciences, computer science, economics, statistics, etc.).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of hands on experience with online advertising technology and systems (DCM, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing complexities such as online advertising campaign setup, QA and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with creative trafficking and tag management (experience managing campaigns and creative delivery & performance a plus).
  • Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • General understanding of Ad Tech landscape and concepts such as RTB, DSP, Ad Exchanges and DMPs.
  • Experience trafficking different ad formats including HTML5, DCO, VPAID, MRAID, etc.
  • Understanding of web technologies and coding (JavaScript, SQL, Python, WP, HTML).
  • Personable, solutions oriented, creative thinker.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and extremely well-organized.
  • Proven track record of delivering against multiple tasks, often simultaneously, without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
