The Epic System Analyst must be knowledgeable regarding business processing needs involved in hospital and clinic operations. The Epic Systems Analyst is responsible for design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle and access applications. Each individual must be able to work to 1) identify and resolve systems issues in coordination with other team members across all other Epic applications, 2) work closely with Operational counterparts to ensure consistent business processing methods, 3) provide expert and creative solutions to end-user requirements and problems, 4) perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, interface integration needs, reporting requirements, and 5) take the initiative to respond, research and resolve operational inquiries pertaining to EMR applications. Epic System Analysts will participate in driving operational change within the organization.
The Epic System Analyst is responsible for obtaining the appropriate Epic certification(s) and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and acquiring knowledge of the clinical or revenue cycle/access workflows to be implemented and supported within the system.
This Epic Analyst position will help support Anesthesia and Optime applications.
