  • Bachelors or Master is Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

What?

You should be prepared to spend some days writing specs, drawing mockups, and working with the development teams to bring your vision to life. You should be prepared to spend other days speaking with Twilio customers, whether to support sales or to do research for the next product or feature. You will either bring to the table your experience launching products, or you will work with us to develop that skill set. And in the spirit of our company values, you should have the humility to accept guidance and support from your peers throughout the company.

We are looking for candidates at any level of seniority. That said, these specific requirements apply:

  • 2+ years of experience as a product manager, project manager, or tech lead for a technology company.
  • Some experience, whether professionally or as an enthusiastic hobbyist, writing code and developing software.

Why?

At Twilio, you’ll be put in a unique position to address a huge market with a trusted platform and shape the future of communication with your own hands. As a product manager in the Messaging org, you will be responsible for empowering the world’s developers with modern communication in order to build better applications. An overwhelming majority of our customers prefer to use messaging for their communications, whether it’s via SMS, chat, or using apps like WhatsApp or LINE. You will be crafting exceptional developer experiences, planning & prioritizing sprints with your engineering teams and driving the product vision and roadmap every day.

Where?

This position will be located in our office at 375 Beale Street in San Francisco. You will enjoy our office perks: catered meals, snacks, game room, ergonomic desks, massages, Wednesday dinners, bi-weekly All Hands and more. What you will also get to experience is a company that believes in small teams for maximum impact; seeks well-rounded talent to ensure a full perspective on our customers’ experience, understands that this is a marathon, not a sprint; that continuously and purposefully builds an inclusive culture where everyone is able to do and be the best version of themselves.
