Job Description

Zendesk is looking for a Benefits Analyst to support our global benefits programs. This position will sit in our wonderful Manila office and support the coordination of our benefits programs in collaboration with our global benefits team, people operations, external vendors and employees. Responsibilities:

    • Liaising with the Global Benefits team to carry out program delivery across regions
    • Ensuring effective enrolment and termination of employees in the different benefit plans within the APAC/US region
    • Maintaining continuous employee/participation engagement and ensure governance of of benefit plans (i.e pension plans)
    • Identifying opportunities to improve current programs – liaising across applicable teams as needed
    • Providing support to the Global Benefits team and Workplace experiences teams in the regions on all activities related to Wellness
    • Partnering with the Global Benefits, Employee Services and HRIS team in identifying requirements for all benefits for configuration and deployment in Workday
    • Opening and monitoring POs for the different locations and benefits policies.
    • Working with Payroll to ensure that all monthly benefit deductions are correct
    • Work closely with regional Total Rewards Manager to support renewal efforts in different countries across APAC
    • Deliver Benefits New Hire Orientation and coordinate new hire benefits enrollment
    • Partner with Benefits team in developing ongoing employee benefits communications and ensuring we meet communication deadlines
    • Ensure data integrity across all carriers and troubleshoot data errors as needed
    • Assist with the management of all leave of absences (disability, maternity, etc.) and ensure policies, procedures and plan documentation are maintained pertaining to employee
    • Support all ongoing compliance related activities/projects
    • Perform occasional audits and reports as needed
    • Take on various other benefits related projects and analysis as needed
    • Escalation of any issues from employees

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 2+ years experience in benefits, preferably with experience supporting benefits across APAC region (advantage)
    • Workday experience preferred
    • Must be comfortable with Excel to perform occasional audits and reporting
    • Experience in a customer-facing role and successfully managed ticketing process
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
    • You are a master of the details; You set priorities well and always follow through
    • You are an energetic team player who helps make everyone successful
