About the Role

As the Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include maintaining various projects necessary to maintain an efficient and world class supply chain.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain various projects simultaneously with the purpose of implementing new processes and tools to the team
• Provide routine maintenance and continual updates to these tools in order to maintain relevance
• Develop relationships across the organization to provide a collaborative solution to the project needs
• Continuously assess the Supply Chain operation in order to suggest new projects, engage other team members to learn of the most impactful challenges, and seek out areas to improve efficiency and productivity
• Projects will include improving communication internally and externally, creating/maintain databases for suppliers and contracts

What You’ll Need

• 2 to 4 years project management skills
• Excellent data management skills and proofreading ability
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to operate in a fast moving, constantly changing, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Accuracy, detail orientation and analytical skills needed
• BA/BS degree required
• Project management skills

Bonus Points If

• Prior project management experience
• Prior experience utilizing database software
• Prior experience utilizing contract management database software a bonus

About the Team

The Global Supply Chain & Business Operation team has a mission of scaling best-in-class technology to deliver safe, reliable and accessible transportation for the Uber platform. We are a multifaceted team that is charged with leading end-to-end supply chain efforts for multiple products across multiple separate business units across Uber. We are a highly cross-functional team and are the commercial interface between our technical teams and the global supply base. Our key goals include supporting technical product development, developing/maintaining key strategic supplier relationships and ensuring supply continuity. Finally, we are a collaborative team with a depth of experience in taking products to scale using/creating industry best practices.
