ABOUT THE ROLE

At Uber, the drivers who partner with us are at the heart of everything we do. They play a critical role in building our brand and providing positive experiences for our riders--whether that’s through maintaining low wait times or providing them with a great trip.

We're looking for an experienced growth marketer who will be responsible for creating and implementing integrated lead generation, conversion and retention strategies, and the tools that support them--to --across our markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Delivering compelling, customer-centric experiences that engage drivers is critical to our expansion in EMEA. As a Sr. Brand Manager focused on Driver Growth Marketing, you will bring new drivers to our platform by digging into the data, ideating, testing and optimizing customer journeys that convert prospects into loyal partners. You will also support efforts to engage and retain drivers after they are onboarded.

This role will span lead generation process development, field marketing, strategic segmentation, content nurturing, engagement & retention, pipeline analytics, performance measurement, planning and budgeting, marketing systems and data. You will work in a collaborative working group model with marketing teams (performance media, web, CRM, etc.), as well as driver operations and customer support at EMEA Central and Regional levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead generation campaigns & operations:
  • Develop integrated growth marketing campaigns that support lead generation, conversion and the acquisition of new partners across a range of markets with widely varied regulatory requirements.
  • Enable world-class growth marketing infrastructure to deliver localized, highly personalized and frictionless campaigns and conversion paths.
  • Field Marketing: develop and execute strategies for growth through local brand ambassadors and retail touchpoints
  • Segmentation and nurturing strategies:
  • Lead development of segmentation strategy to enable significant acceleration in pipeline conversion
  • Leverage segmentation to lead Marketing Channels, Operations and Advanced Customer Support to build fully integrated customer journeys optimized for pipeline speed and efficiency
  • Partner with Content Marketing to develop lead nurturing strategies for key prospect segments
  • Integrate segmentation analytics, insights and process into onboarding sequences and product development
  • Engagement & Retention
  • Create and deploy relevant, engaging driver content marketing
  • Work closely with marketing and cross-functional partners to boost driver retention at all lifecycle stages
  • Utilize data and analytics to develop insights-led driver retention strategies across all marketing and support channels
  • Performance management
  • Inform resource allocation and processes to achieve measurable increases in ROI and efficiency across all channels
  • Lead performance media, CRM, operations and customer support in aligning teams, analytics, automation and assessment
  • Support the evaluation, implementation and management of marketing technology systems that support lead generation, conversion and acquisition
  • Pipeline analytics
  • Utilize data and analytics from multiple sources to inform marketing activities and investment strategies
  • Create framework and predictive methodology for channel investments

What You’ll Need

  • At least 5 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Acquisition and/or Loyalty Marketing.
  • Success in building new Growth Marketing functions--strategy, team alignment, systems, planning and ongoing execution.
  • Proven record of exceeding lead, conversion, acquisition and revenue goals..
  • Strong creative instinct, with a knack for coming up with "out-of-the-box" ideas and evaluating creative ideas, concepts and executions
  • Very strong analytical skills with the ability to promptly establish priorities, communicate expectations and connect brand metrics with business results
  • A natural team player, with strong track record excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership with internal and external partners
  • Hustle - Uber moves fast, and runs lean. It’s a marathon at sprint pace. You're a fun, charismatic, people person who can talk to anyone; flexible and confident, you’re also excited to help build something awesome, share it with the world and work up a sweat doing it.
  • English fluency required. Big plus if you speak French, Arabic and/or have a background in the French market or Middle Eastern countries.
