  • Overview

    We are seeking an Operations and Materials Specialist to join our Research Operations team!

    This role will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing packages to support the workforce at Seattle Children's Research Institute. Materials will include chemicals, reagents, lab supplies, etc., and some temperature sensitive materials.

    The successful candidate will provide centralized receipt, process, storage, and distribution services while overseeing and coordinating loading dock access. In addition, responsibilities will include vendor management, tag capital equipment, inventory/reordering stocked goods, and asset tracking.     Requirements

    Required Education/Experience:
    - High School Graduate or equivalent.
    - Minimum of three (3) years receiving or related position experience in pharmaceutical or research environment, with emphasis on medical/biotechnical supplies and equipment.
    Preferred:
    - Associates degree.
    - Healthcare/medical materials experience.
    - Five (5) years receiving or inventory management experience in pharmaceutical or research environment, with emphasis on medical/biotechnical supplies and equipment.
