About the Role

The Global Center of Excellence (COE) Program team serves as the central conduit to integrate all Global COEs in the Uber network around consistent agent & customer experience. The Global COE Program team is part of the Global Community Operations organization which provides premier customer support to Uber customers all over the world. Centers of Excellence are responsible for Uber’s most complex customer support, including incubating customer support for new and innovative products, concierge support for riders, partners and businesses, escalations and investigative lines of business.

The Global COE Project Manager will support global project management within all COEs for a given mega-region. They will be the on the ground local voice for the global team, providing local insight and driving global consistency.

What you'll do

  • Work globally - You’ll work with other Global COE Project Managers around the world to drive consistent project implementation in their own region; this means willingness to travel and accommodate distant timezones
  • Think critically - Develop analytical & project frameworks to support decision making
  • Be obsessed with organization - Create and maintain detailed project resources including project plans, timelines, charters, post-mortems etc
  • Manage stakeholders - Partner closely with regional stakeholders to provide insights that drive decisions around process, policy, and service models changes
  • Excel at communication - Communicate the key program outcomes and insights to stakeholders throughout and after the project lifecycle - comfort presenting to colleagues at various levels in the organization, from front line teams to executive leaders

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Highly detail oriented
  • 2-4 years of leading projects
  • Ability to communicate cross functionally with wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience building & telling compelling stories with data and visuals (Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills)

Bonus points for

  • Six Sigma or similar process excellence, project management certifications
  • Experience working in a customer support environment
