Job Description

You are a marketing student or recent graduate looking for an opportunity to gain practice experience in the various fields of Marketing. Your job at Hootsuite includes: writing mistake-free German copy. Scheduling content and creating on-brand static images as well as organizing and attending events. You are very well organised, you have an eye for details and you are not afraid of data or Excel sheets. Overall you are a positive spirited personality that likes to get things done. This role reports into Senior Marketing Manager, Central Europe and is based in the Hamburg office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Write, publish and schedule social media content across Hootsuite's German social media channels (Twitter, Facebook)
  • Support the growth and maintenance of Hootsuite's social media channels
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Research and clean data (Excel)
  • Support administrative activities as brief creation, brief teams, review content

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Project Management
  • Analytical thinking
  • Experience of working in a team environment
  • Creative, business-oriented writing skills
  • Excel at multi-tasking, prioritisation, staying on top of things
  • Keen focus on collaboration, quality and timeliness
  • Able to quickly understand ideas or technology once it’s explained to you
  • Written and spoken fluency in English

Please note that this a 1 year contract for approx 15-20 hours per week.
