Team/Function Overview

The team is responsible for AML (Anti Money Laundering)/FC (Financial Crime) provision and investor account maintenance for Transfer Agency clients.

The technology adopted by Citi is highly automated and the TA offering is mainly technology lead. The AML team mainly manages exceptions, oversight and reporting of AML/FC requirements.

Role / Position Overview

Being part of a team that processes account opening requests and maintenance requests from investors, ensuring that all AML & FC procedures are followed.

Undertake effective AML/FC reviews.

Comply with reporting requirements on behalf of the regulator, the TA client and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply in-depth specialty knowledge to complete tasks related to Know Your Client (KYC)/Anti Money Laundering (AML)
• Ensure compliance and observance of all internal procedures and controls
• Process account opening requests, ensuring AML/KYC processes are completed correctly
• Process account maintenance requests, ensuring AML/KYC processes are completed correctly
• Participate in Periodic Reviews of Investor account
• Participation in Continuous Process Improvement

Requirements:

• Experience in an AML related role within Financial Services is useful but not required as long as the candidate is keen to learn a new specialist subject.
• Master's Degree in finance would be beneficial
• Highly PC literate with excellent IT skills particularly Microsoft platforms (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
