This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Oversight: Develop and implement audit plans aligned with organizational goals, and contribute to strategic planning with senior management.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate significant business risks through effective audit practices ensuring audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified.
• Audit Execution and Compliance: Lead and oversee internal audits, ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Develop formal reporting system to communicate audit results to senior management.
• Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor the audit team, ensuring continuous professional development and up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards.
• Special Projects and Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in special projects, build relationships with executives and stakeholders, and collaborate with them to implement audit improvements.
• Comprehensive Audits: Conduct detailed and holistic audits across departments using modern auditing tools and methodologies for accuracy and efficiency.
• Actionable Recommendations: Provide clear recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance and execute transformation initiatives based on audit findings.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Public accounting experience preferably in Big 4.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in auditing, ideally in a director-level auditor position.
• Maintain a balance between long-term vision, short-term goals, meticulous attention to detail, and overarching strategic thinking.
• Innovate ideas, solutions, and frameworks while leading with thought leadership, and demonstrate proficiency in using modern auditing tools and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and integrity.

Our AVP-Audit earn between $210,600 - $316,000 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
