Position Summary: This role is responsible for optimizing the daily operations of employee events, corporate administration and social impact initiatives, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals, while also managing budgets, teams, and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs in areas of workplace experience employee events, corporate administration, DEI & Corporate Giving
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement (Hybrid strategy adoption, Employee Engagement & Social Impact Events, Corporate Administration Cost Effectiveness)
- Manage Inclusion & Culture, Corporate Giving and Corporate Administration budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are met.
- Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory, and logistics for Inclusion & Culture, Corporate Giving, Corporate Administration and Sustainability and support/mentor Team Lead of Employee Events on the same.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and coach WXSI teams to achieve operational objectives
- Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and offer constructive feedback
- Resolve conflicts and ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Manage contract Administrative Assistant (Admin Pool)
- Implement monthly meetings and offsites in partnership with the Senior Executive Assistant, Team Lead & VP, Workplace Experience & Social Impact for both WXSI and Corporate Administration teams
- Project & Change Management:
- Partner with and prepare change management plans for the WXSI teams to prepare stakeholders for projects, implementing and monitoring post project
- Manage change and project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project and change goals
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support the WXSI and company's overall OKRs.
- Analyze market trends for Employee, Inclusion & Culture & Giving events and identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including employees, clients, and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Represent the company in a professional and effective manner
Essential Skills:
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership, delegation, and motivational skills are crucial for leading and developing teams
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly and effectively
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems quickly and effectively is vital
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Analytical Skills: Data analysis and financial analysis skills are important for identifying trends, making informed decisions, and improving performance
- Project & Change Management: Experience in planning, executing, and managing projects with change management principles is essential
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans is important for driving business growth
- Excellent interpersonal skills: The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Technical Skills: Depending on the industry, some technical skills may be required, such as knowledge of specific software or systems
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of managing individual contributors and ideally manager of managers
- Proven ability to execute on multiple projects/initiatives and lead change enterprise wide
- Ability to work at both Mississauga and Toronto offices
$83,700 - $90,000 a year At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is $83,700 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits, overtime eligible. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
