The Project Manager will lead and execute facility infrastructure improvement and expansion projects at the Round Lake site. This critical and growing manufacturing facility is undergoing significant expansion to meet the increasing market demand for plasma-derived therapies and biopharmaceutical production. The state-of-the-art Round Lake facility features advanced cleanroom environments and utility systems that support the development of life-saving therapies.
Key responsibilities include managing the remodeling of production spaces and upgrading clean utility systems such as WFI (Water for Injection), RO (Reverse Osmosis) water, process compressed air, and clean room HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills and technical expertise in infrastructure systems. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the growth and transformation of one of Takeda’s flagship facilities.
·Manage projects to improve and expand the manufacturing facility.
·Oversee all aspects of project management, including project budgets, purchase orders, monthly cash flow updates, project schedules, and project status reviews.
·Perform technical work related to the design and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
·Coordinate vendors and contractors to support project implementation and production throughput.
·Support the manufacturing facility strategy and capital project roadmap in accordance with the site’s master plan.
·Communicate project status updates effectively to all levels of management.
·Ensure the implementation of Quality and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements during project execution.
·Manage change control processes for new implementation projects.
·Support the analysis and execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in collaboration with other site functions.
·Proven self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
·Solid experience with GMP principles and a thorough understanding of FDA guidelines.
·Demonstrated expertise in HVAC and utility systems.
·Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
·Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects.
·Adept at delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.
·Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align with various stakeholders.
·Comprehensive knowledge of project scheduling, cost estimation, and cost control processes.
·Commitment to ensuring quality standards and upholding Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
·Focused on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation during project planning and execution.

$111,800.00 - $175,670.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
