Your Role:

As Senior IT Program Manager, you'll take charge of medium-to-large programs with high visibility and impact across our core operations. You will strategically manage every aspect of your projects—scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks—ensuring alignment with our business goals and values. Your role entails identifying and addressing risks, keeping collaborators updated, and encouraging team motivation and engagement.

You will be steering projects and programs to success in a fast-paced and sophisticated environment. This role is not just about managing projects; it's about delivering solutions that profoundly impact AstraZeneca patients' needs. You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of projects and programs within allocated budget and timeline, ensuring the use of adequate project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Holds at least 1 certification or has received training in a project management methodology.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing scope, budget, risk, resources, communications and quality.
• Strategic problem solver with decision-making skills.
• Extensive experience in leading globally distributed teams.
• Skilled at handling tight timeframes while effectively achieving business objectives.
• Experience with IT projects, especially in platform integrations and infrastructure.
• Subject Matter Expertise Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, and quality domains.
• Outstanding communication skills for engaging effectively with diverse teams.
• Skilled in managing conflicts and conducting successful negotiations.
• Flexible, resilient leadership with previous management experience.
• Comfortable working amid ambiguity and leading teams through change.
• Adept at cultivating and managing relationships with third-party vendors.
• Experience in engaging and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end projects and programs.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, which we highly value.
• Additional certifications in project management methodologies, enhancing your expertise.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, offering valuable insights.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, contributing to dynamic project environments.
